LaVontay Fenderson was one of the most unstoppable offensive players in program history. Fenderson was a mainstay in the box score for the Rangers throughout his career. He sits second in program history in points scored, netting 1818 during his career. His 2008-09 season was one that will never be forgotten, LaVontay was the NCAA Division II leader in scoring, averaging 26.3 points per game, including the highest single game scoring in program history. On February 12th, 2009 he scored 52 points against St. Joseph's College in DeSimone Arena. He was an All-GLVC player, earning first-team honors during the historic 2008-09 season. He also helped the Rangers qualify for the NCAA Tournament in 2007.
