KENOSHA, Wis. – The Rangers softball team is set to play a total of six games from Wednesday to Sunday, all are scheduled at home. Parkside will seek revenge against Purdue Northwest on Wednesday in doubleheader action. The first pitch of game one is set for 1 p.m. CDT. The Rangers will then have two days off before returning to action on both Saturday and Sunday. They will square off against Wayne State on Saturday, then face Saginaw Valley State on Sunday. First pitch on both Saturday and Sunday is scheduled for 12 p.m. CDT.
Purdue Northwest
The Rangers and the Pride will face off less than a week after squaring off down in Hammond. Parkside dropped both games of the doubleheader and are in search of revenge over the Pride. To read about the Pride and Rangers last match up click
here. Since playing the Rangers the Pride played a doubleheader against Ferris State and dropped both games to the Bulldogs.
Series History
The Rangers are looking to gain some ground against the Pride, as the series record favors the Pride 14-4. All four Ranger wins have come at home.
Wayne State
Parkside and Wayne State will meet again this season. The last time the two sides squared off it was in Detroit back on March 30

here. The Warriors will play two doubleheaders this week before heading to Kenosha to battle the Rangers. They will take on Ferris State in Big Rapids then play host to No. 14 Grand Valley State at home. As of now the Warriors are sitting at 12-17 overall and an even 4-4 in conference play.
Wayne State's offense is led by Rylie Josephson who is swinging a .427 batting average entering this week. Josephson has appeared in all 29 of the Warriors games, making 26 starts. She's collected a team leading 38 hits. Teammate Logan Foreman has been the top run producer for the Warriors having collected 21 RBIs entering this week's action.
On the defensive side, Wayne State is led by Sydney Long. Long has appeared in 15 games for the Warriors, but holds a 4-8 record. She holds a 3.69 ERA entering this week.

The Warriors currently hold a 17-10 advantage over the Rangers.
Saginaw Valley State
The Rangers and Cardinals last played back on March 29

here. SVSU enters this week with a 20-13 overall record and a 7-3 record in GLIAC play. They most recently played PNW on Monday, falling to the Pride in doubleheader action. The Cardinals will play two doubleheaders before coming to Kenosha to take on the Rangers. They are slated to play Davenport and Purdue Northwest, both contests set to be on the road for the Cardinals.
At the plate, the Cardinals are led by Ella Reifschneider. The freshman has started all but one game for SVSU entering this week. She swings a team leading .378 batting average with 34 hits and 41 total bases. She has also drawn a team high 22 walks.
The Cardinals top pitcher is senior Emily Depew. Depew has tossed 92.1 innings for SVSU while striking out 95 batters. Entering this week she touts a 2.35 ERA.
Series History
The Rangers have mustered just four wins to the Cardinals 21 in the all time series. The Rangers are looking to break a 13 game losing streak to the Cardinals.
