The Parkside men's and women's track & field teams opened up their outdoor season at the Marquette Invite on Saturday at Raade Stadium at Wisconsin Lutheran College. The Rangers got off to a very strong start on the season, with several athletes coming away with a win in their events.
MEN'S NOTABLES
Nic Davy placed first in the 100 meters with a time of 10.58. He also won the 200 meters with a time of 21.75 seconds.
Uriah Aili,
Sean Waldvogel and
Tommy Martin went first, second, and third in the 800 meters.
Aili went on to win the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:01.4.
Grady Davis placed fourth.
Wil Kiley won the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:30.2.
Ramon Romero placed second with a time of 15:58.22.
Walker Miller won the steeplechase with a time of 9:46.2.
Daksh Arora won the pole vault with a height of 4.40 meters.
WOMEN'S NOTABLES
Emily Elford placed fourth in the 100-meter dash and fifth in the 200 meters.
Carolin Bothe,
Katie Scott, and
Katja Bauerle went first, second, and third in the 800 meters.
Amber Tomazevic won the pole vault with a height of 3.05 meters.
Victoria Lendal placed third in the triple jump with
Mckenna Armstrong placed fourth.
Emily Maynard placed fourth in the shot put with a throw of 9.53 meters.
