Parkside Women Secure Second Place At SLU Billiken Invite

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Parkside Rangers women's track and field delivered a strong performance Saturday at the SLU Billiken Invite, highlighted by multiple event victories and top finishes across the board.

On the track, Dani Riemer led the way in the 100 meters with an eighth-place, personal-best finish (12.71). In the 100-meter hurdles, Miranda Winkler placed third in a season-best 15.56.

In the 400 meters, Anna Snorek recorded a sixth-place finish (58.71), while Jasmine Sieben added an 11th-place effort (59.82) and Addison Stallings placed 14th with a personal-best 1:01.86.

Johanna Ebert turned in a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles (1:06.90). In the 800 meters, Madison Perez led the group with a ninth-place finish (2:22.57), while Addison Lacy also finished in the top 15 (13th, 2:26.25).

The distance events were highlighted by Abbi Steiner, who placed fourth in the 1500 meters (4:50.32), and Alyson Moore, who finished seventh (4:52.67). In the 5000 meters, Riley Doyle placed fifth (19:21.52) and Abby Robson took eighth (19:27.94).

In the field events, Analisia Melendez highlighted the day with a first-place, personal-best performance in the long jump (5.54m). Rachel Blaskowski added a fourth-place finish (5.36m), while Riemer placed seventh (5.20m).

Nailah Taylor claimed first place in the high jump, clearing 1.57 meters, and Delaney McMahon finished seventh (1.42m).

In the triple jump, Winkler placed third with a personal-best mark of 11.17 meters, while Riemer added a sixth-place finish (10.75m) and Avah Banks finished eighth (10.52m).

In the throws, Brooke Mader placed seventh in the hammer throw (42.40m), while Hannah Vlies added a ninth-place finish (40.93m) and a fifth-place mark in the shot put (11.60m).

The Rangers closed out the meet with strong relay performances, as the 4x400-meter "A" team of Sieben, Stallings, Taylor, and Snorek placed third (4:05.85). The "B" team finished fifth (4:15.73), and the "C" team took sixth (4:19.74).

Parkside will return to action April 3 at the Rex Foster Twilight, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
