Parkside wrestling had to deal with a tough opponent Thursday night on the road in Fayette, Iowa, as the Peacocks (2-2) entered the match ranked No. 16 in the country and had five wrestlers ranked individually. The Rangers (1-3) hung tough, as sophomore
Ryan Neu and freshman
Reece Worachek each earned wins over the No. 8 ranked wrestler in their weight class while redshirt-senior and No. 4 Joe Arroyo stayed unbeaten at 125 pounds with a win over the No. 11 ranked wrestler.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The dual started at 157 pounds where Upper Iowa's No. 6 Chase Luensman beat freshman
Ben Durocher in sudden victory. Parkside battled back to win three straight decisions, with redshirt-junior
Shane Gantz improving to 4-0 this season at 165 pounds followed by the big wins from Neu and Worachek. Worachek improved to 4-0 this season as well. With Parkside leading 9-3, the Peacocks answered with a major decision at 197 and a decision at heavyweight to take a 10-9 lead.

Following the heavyweight match, Arroyo moved to 4-0 this season with a 6-2 decision over No. 11 Kaden Anderlik at 125 pounds, but the Peacocks went on to win the final three matches to earn the 21-12 win over the Rangers.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Rangers will host top-ranked St. Cloud State next week in the final home dual of the season. The dual is set for Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. and will be a second straight Marquee Matchup powered by Upload Partners with Scott Sudikoff (play-by-play),
