KENOSHA, Wis. -- Parkside Wrestling is pleased to announce a gift of $25,000 from Parkside Wrestling alumnus Timothy Whiting '91 to enhance the Parkside Wrestling Scholarship Fund.
 
The Parkside Wrestling Scholarship Fund serves as a resource to support the growth and development of Parkside Wrestling and its student-athletes. It will contribute to the continuation and enhancement of the program's longstanding history of success.
 
"Tim's generosity speaks volumes about his dedication to Parkside Wrestling and the student-athletes who carry this program forward," said Head Wrestling Coach Nick Becker.
 
Whiting's connection to Parkside Wrestling runs deep. A 1991 alumnus and standout competitor during his time with the Rangers, he was a three-time Academic All-American and earned All-American honors in 1991.
 
"Tim's gift sets a powerful example and will create lasting opportunities for our wrestling student-athletes. We are incredibly grateful for his continued commitment to this program," said Director of Athletics Adam Schemm '08.
 
Supporters are invited to join Whiting in contributing to the Parkside Wrestling Scholarship Fund on Parkside Day, taking place on April 22nd.
