Joe Mrowiec was named GLIAC Player of the Week for the first time in his career following a dominant performance this past weekend.
Joe Mrowiec was named GLIAC Player of the Week following a dominant performance against Purdue Northwest this past weekend. He batted .588 (10-for-17) and posted a 1.294 slugging percentage. Mrowiec drove in 11 runs, recording three doubles and three home runs among his 10 hits, while also scoring nine runs. The honor marks the first of his career and makes him the first Parkside player to earn the award this season.
Mrowiec currently ranks 18th in the GLIAC with a .333 batting average on the season. He is also tied for second in the conference with nine home runs.
