NEW ORLEANS — Four members of the Parkside Rangers track and field program were named All-Region for the 2026 indoor season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Wednesday.

On the women's side, Rachel Blaskowski and Essence Burrows both earned All-Region recognition in the long jump. On the men's side, Doug Martin was honored in the 800 meters, while EJ Johnson earned the distinction in the high jump.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association awards All-Region honors to the top five individuals in each event within their respective region, along with members of the region's top three relay teams.

Blaskowski and Burrows each ranked among the top five performers in the Midwest Region in the long jump with marks of 5.95m and 5.89m respectively during the indoor season. 

Martin earned his recognition after posting one of the region's top times with a time of 1:48.70 in the 800 meters, while Johnson finished the season among the top high jumpers in the Midwest Region with a mark of 2.16m.
