PERU, Ind. – Parkside men's golf put together one of the top team performances in program history this week at the Midwest Collegiate, hosted at Rock Hollow Golf Club. The Rangers finished sixth overall with a 54-hole total of 889 (+25), the eighth-best 54-hole team score in program history.

In just his second tournament as a Ranger, Shane Stanley shined with a tie for sixth place individually, finishing at even par. Stanley opened with a 73 in round one, matched that score in round two with five birdies, and closed strong with a two-under 70 in the final round. His closing round included three birdies and just one bogey.

Aleck Simms also delivered a strong performance, tying for 11th at +4. After an opening-round 77, Simms rebounded with an even-par 72 in round two that featured three birdies, before carding his first under-par round of the season with a 71 (-1) in the finale.

Tyler Reiter tied for 38th at +13 (76-79-74), highlighted by 11 total birdies across the event. Ryan Lingelbach tied for 47th at +15 (77-71-83), with his second-round 71 featuring six birdies. Lingelbach also provided a highlight in the final round with an eagle on the par-four, 326-yard 16th hole.

Rounding out the lineup, Hayden Underhill tied for 56th at +17 with consistent rounds of 76, 80, and 77.

Parkside returns to action October 6–7 at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont, Illinois, competing in the Flyer Fall Intercollegiate.
