KOHLER, Wis. – The Parkside men's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of its 2025–26 season in impressive fashion, finishing second at the Whistling Straits Classic on the famed Straits Course at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin. The Rangers battled challenging winds and tough conditions to post a 36-hole team score of +45.
As a team, Parkside led the field in par-four scoring with a 4.45 average and ranked second in par-five scoring at 5.15.
Ryan Lingelbach paced the Rangers with a fourth-place finish at +8, earning All-Tournament Team honors. After a rollercoaster opening round that included five birdies and nine bogeys for a 78, Lingelbach rebounded with a steady second round of 74 that featured two birdies and 13 pars. His seven total birdies were the second most in the tournament.
Tyler Reiter finished tied for ninth at +12, rebounding from an opening-round 82 to shoot one of the best scores of the final day with a 74 that included three birdies.
Shane Stanley tied for 11th at +13, carding rounds of 78 and 79 with four birdies in the opening round. Aleck Simms and Hayden Underhill each tied for 17th at +16, with Simms posting back-to-back rounds of 80 and Underhill recording rounds of 78 and 82.
The Rangers have officially concluded the fall portion of their schedule and will return to action in March 2026.
