ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Parkside women's golf team continued its strong start to the 2025 season with another record-setting performance on Monday at the Gilda's Club Laker Invitational, hosted by Grand Valley State at The Meadows. The Rangers finished 10th overall in the one-day, 36-hole tournament and set a new program-best 36-hole team score with a total of 655 (+79). The mark shattered the previous record by 27 shots.
Junior AJ Powell led Parkside with a tie for 26th place at +12 (80-76). Powell's second-round 76 included three birdies, and she played the front nine at even par.
Freshman Lily Zicarelli followed closely behind, tying for 30th at +13 (76-81) while recording three birdies on the day. Sarah Arsich tied for 53rd at +24 (84-84), while Dulce Gefke tied for 63rd at +37 (96-85), highlighted by an 11-stroke improvement in round two. Natalie Kellogg rounded out the lineup in 65th at +45 (89-100).
Parkside will return to action October 6–7 at Cog Hill Country Club in Lemont, Illinois, competing in the Flyer Fall Intercollegiate.
