AUGUSTA, Mich. – The Parkside women's golf team delivered a historic showing at the GLIAC Championships this weekend, recording program-best marks for both 18-hole and 54-hole team scores. The Rangers finished in a tie for fourth place with a total of +71, their highest finish in program history at the conference championship.
Parkside capped the weekend with a record-setting final round of +18, the lowest 18-hole team score in program history.
AJ Powell led the Rangers with a tie for eighth place at +10 (76–75–75). Powell tallied eight birdies over the three rounds—third most in the field—including three birdies in both the opening and final rounds.
Freshman Lily Zicarelli finished 15th at +14 (77–77–76), turning in a consistent performance across all three rounds. Maia Becker placed in a tie for 21st at +20 (81–79–76), improving each round to close strong on Sunday.
Dulce Gefke finished 26th at +29 (86–78–81), while Sarah Arsich rounded out the lineup in 27th at +31 (86–82–79), also finishing with her best round of the tournament.
