INDIANAPOLIS — The University of Wisconsin-Parkside women's golf program will be represented on the national stage once again, as AJ Powell and Lily Zicarelli were named individual qualifiers for the NCAA Division II East Regional on Sunday afternoon.

Powell secures her third career NCAA Regional appearance, continuing to anchor the Rangers' rapid rise as a program. Zicarelli, meanwhile, earns her first selection and stands out as the only freshman individual qualifier in the East Region field.

With the selections, Parkside has now sent at least one individual to the NCAA Regional in all three years of the program's existence.

Powell turned in a record-setting season for the Rangers, posting a 78.42 scoring average while rewriting the program record book. She established new Parkside bests for 18-, 36-, and 54-hole totals and totaled a career-high 44 birdies on the year. Powell also delivered consistent high-level performances, finishing in the top ten six times and recording two top-five finishes, highlighted by a third-place showing at the Upper Iowa Spring Invite.

Zicarelli continues to build an impressive debut campaign, becoming just the second Ranger in program history to qualify for the NCAA Regional alongside Powell. The freshman recorded four top-ten finishes this season, including a third-place finish at the Upper Iowa Spring Invite. She posted a 78.71 scoring average and totaled 33 birdies, the second-most in program history. Most recently, Zicarelli turned in the second-best 54-hole total in program history at the GLIAC Championships, trailing only Powell.

The NCAA Division II East Regional is scheduled for May 4–6 at Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
