BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Parkside men's golf opened the 2025 season this week at the Midwest Preview, hosted at Katke Golf Club. The Rangers placed 11th as a team with a score of +46 over three rounds on the par-71 course, highlighted by steady improvement capped with their best round of the tournament in the finale at +11 — a nine-shot improvement from round one.

Leading the way for the Rangers was Ryan Lingelbach, who finished tied for 17th individually at +9 (75-69-78). Lingelbach carded five birdies in his second-round 69, one of the top scores in the field, and totaled nine birdies overall, tied for the fifth-most across the tournament.

Aleck Simms tied for 29th at +11 (74-78-72), highlighted by an eagle on the par-five, 540-yard ninth hole in round one. Hayden Underhill tied for 41st at +14 (78-78-71), closing strong with an even-par third round that included three birdies.

Shane Stanley tied for 51st at +16 (78-77-74), while Tyler Reiter tied for 62nd at +19 (77-75-80). Competing as an individual, Preston Lamirande finished 88th at +27 (81-78-81).

The Rangers will return to competition September 29–30 at the Fall Midwest Collegiate, hosted at Rock Hollow Golf Club.
