BAY CITY, Mich. --  The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) announced their postseason golf awards on Thursday and the Parkside men's golf team had Aleck Simms and Shane Stanley honored with honorable mention honors.
 
Simms closed out his Parkside career with two top ten finishes this season, including a tenth place finish at the 2026 GLIAC Championships, shooting even par for the three-round event. His even par performance is tied for the third best 54-hole individual total in program history. He also rolled in 67 birdies this season which is the third most all-time.
 
Stanley earns the honorable mention honor in his first season with the Rangers. He had four top ten finishes this season, including a second place finish at the Flyers Fall Intercollegiate back in October. He finished second on the team in scoring average at 74.83.
