ALLENDALE, Mich. — UW-Parkside sophomore AJ Powell returned to action Tuesday morning for the second round of the NCAA Division II Women's East Regional at The Meadows in Allendale, Michigan. Following a tough opening round in which the field averaged roughly 8.5 strokes over par, Powell aimed to capitalize on moving day and position herself for a strong finish in Wednesday's final round.

Powell carded an 82 (+10) in Round 2, bringing her tournament total to +19 and placing her in a tie for 62nd. She opened her day with a birdie on the par-5 1st hole and added another on the par-4 11th.
