St. Louis, MO – The Parkisde men's track and field team kicked off the outdoor season on Friday afternoon with some of the team competing at the SLU Speed and Power Invite and another group competing at the Wash U Distance Carnival.
There were multiple big performances on Friday, but a few stole the show.
Sean Waldvogel and
Doug Martin finished within three hundredths of a second of each other in the 800 meters, with the second and third fastest times in Parkside history. They also both currently have two of the top ten fastest times in all of Division II.
Michael Hendrix also had a big performance, hitting the NCAA Division II Provo standard in the 400 hurdles.
