3/2/2025 4:08:00 PM

UNIVERSITY CITY, Mich. -- The Parkside men's track and field team closed out the 2025 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) Championships with a bang on Sunday, finishing fifth as a team with 75 points. The point total is the most for the Rangers since joining the GLIAC.

HEAR FROM COACH MAAS
"Some very solid individual performances. Grace Mildice ran four 400s in two days and got faster each time and walked away with a school record. Essence is a beast and a high level competitor. To win those three awards as a freshman is special and she is just scratching the surface of her potential. Also, Doug Martin winning freshman track athlete is an amazing feat and he'll wait to see if he has another two weeks of indoor. Jon Nowacki ran a very gutsy two races and ended his indoor career breaking his own record in the 3k. Also, it was a massive weekend for Michael Hendrix, racing five times in two days and scoring points along the way. Sean Waldvogel had one of the best races of his life and was able to snag back his school record and likely earned himself a spot at NCAAs as well as contributed to our DMR and school record 4x400. A great way to end his senior indoor season."
