KENOSHA, Wis. – The Midwest's best battled brisk winds and rolling hills Saturday morning as UW-Parkside hosted the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Cross Country Championships at Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course. The meet featured over 30 teams from across the region, all competing for a spot at the upcoming 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships.
Parkside placed 20th as a team in the men's 10K championship race with 595 points. Grand Valley State claimed the team title with 44 points, followed by Saginaw Valley State (52) and Lewis (120).
The Rangers were led by Beckett Pawlak, who finished 79th overall with a time of 32:37.0. He was followed closely by Connor Sheahan, who placed 94th in 32:52.5. Rounding out Parkside's scoring were Jack Hamilton (33:42.9, 130th), Jose Monroy (34:03.8, 141st), and Amadeo Cortes (34:19.8, 151st).
