KENOSHA, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Parkside volleyball team is set to return home this weekend for its final home matches of the regular season, welcoming Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan to DeSimone Arena. The Rangers, who are currently tied for sixth place in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) standings, will host Michigan Tech on Friday evening before taking on Northern Michigan on Saturday afternoon.

Parkside (14-6 overall, 5-5 GLIAC) looks to close out its home schedule on a high note as the race for postseason positioning intensifies. The Rangers have been led offensively by senior outside hitter 
Ava Irvin, who continues to pace the team with 258 kills, ranking third in the conference in total kills. Setters

Lily Ray have guided a balanced and efficient offensive attack, distributing the ball effectively across multiple hitters. Defensively, 
Natalie Harris has been a standout performer, leading the GLIAC with 404 total digs and an impressive 5.39 digs per set. Harris also ranks second in the conference in service aces per set at 0.44, providing a key spark from the service line and anchoring the Rangers' defensive consistency. As a team, the Rangers lead the GLIAC in service aces with 151 on the season and rank second in both total assists (953) and assists per set (12.71), showcasing their efficient ball distribution and cohesive offensive rhythm.
Scouting Michigan Tech:
The Huskies, who sit at 8-13 overall and 5-5 in conference play, are tied with Parkside for sixth place in the GLIAC standings. As a team, Michigan Tech ranks third in the conference in total assists with 925, showcasing a well-balanced offensive system. Defensively, Julia Feldderjohn ranks third in the GLIAC with 330 total digs and fifth in digs per set at 4.23, anchoring the Huskies' back row. At the net, Paige Wagner provides a strong presence, ranking second in the conference in total blocks with 77, while Rachel Zurek leads the team offensively with 216 total kills. Parkside is 6-11 all-time against Michigan Tech, with the Huskies taking the first matchup earlier this season by a score of 3-1.
Scouting Northern Michigan:
The Wildcats enter the weekend with a 10-12 overall record and 7-3 in GLIAC play, sitting in fifth place in the conference standings. As a team, Northern Michigan ranks third in the conference in total digs with 1,282. Senior libero Liesl Haugen ranks second in the GLIAC for digs per set at 4.70 and fourth in total digs with 310. Setter Allie Barlow ranks second in the conference in total assists with 782, while McKenzie Gruner leads the team offensively with 241 total kills. The Rangers are 6-14 all-time against the Wildcats, with Northern Michigan taking the first matchup earlier this season in a five-set thriller, 3-2.
