Parkside Women's Soccer Announces 2024 Signing Class

KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Parkside women's soccer program and head coach Brittany Nikolic are happy to announce the signing of 12 student-athletes into the class of 2024.
 
"Our team is excited to feed off the momentum at the end of 2023 and we believe the incoming class is going to help keep pushing us forward," said Nikolic. "Overall, it's such a talented group of players but also high quality young women who are passionate about continuing to grow as people and athletes. We can't wait to have them join our team and see them all competing here at Wood Road Field soon."
 
The 2024 women's soccer signing class features over half of the players calling the state of Wisconsin home and continuing their academic and athletic careers at Wisconsin's only Division II program. There is also a set of sisters joining the program in Ani Minic and Viktorija Minic.
 
 
 
Ava Rizzitano – Forward – 5'5 – Kenosha, Wis. – St. Joseph Catholic Academy – Rush WISE
 
Rizzitano, a Kenosha native, is a graduate of St. Joesph Catholic Academy and played her club soccer at Rush WISE. In her senior year the forward led St. Joesph Catholic Academy in goals, assists, and points this season for the Lancers. She has been recognized for her play by being named All-Kenosha County in her first three years for the Lancers, received Honorable Mention All-State honors and has been voted team MVP.
 
"Ava is strong, fast and strikes the ball so clean with both feet. Ava has been a goal-scoring machine throughout her club and high school career and we are excited for that to continue here."
 
 
Lindsay Dahlinger – Forward – 5'4 – Novi, Mich. – Novi High School – Liverpool FC
 
Dahlinger joins the 2024 recruiting class as another forward for the Rangers. The Novi Michigan native played her high school soccer at Novi High School and club soccer at Liverpool FC. Dahlinger helped the Novi Wildcats to a District Championship in 2021.
 
"Lindsay is super competitive and a great athlete who will add to our attacking threat. She brings a focus and intensity that helps her teams train and compete at a high level. Whether running at players out wide or from a more central forward position she will someone the opposing defenders will have to figure out how to stop."
 
 
Viktorija Minic – Goalkeeper – 5'8 – Kenosha, Wis. – Westosha Central – Rush WISE
 
Viktorija Minic joins the Rangers after playing her high school soccer at Westosha Central and her club soccer at Rush WISE. The goalkeeper has been voted Defensive Player of the Year and has helped the Falcons to an undefeated conference season in 2021. In the 2024 season the Falcons entered the top ten ranks in the state of Wisconsin for the for the first time in school history.
 
"Lola is loud and aggressive which are two things you love to see in a goalkeeper. She works tremendously hard on and off the pitch and even though she a terrific keeper now I look forward to seeing her grow into a top collegiate GK."
 
 
Ani Minic – Midfielder – 5'6 – Kenosha, Wis. – Westosha Central – Rush WISE
 
Ani, the sister of Vikorija, joins the Rangers 2024 class. The midfielder joins the Rangers after playing her high school soccer at Westosha Central and her club soccer at Rush WISE. Ani has received First Team All-Conference honors, First Team All-County honors, and is a two-time team captain for Westosha Central.
 
"Ani is a boss in midfield. She is really good in tight spaces and can play a variety of balls to get her teammates in dangerous attacking positions. She's a leader in sport and school and we look forward to her being a strong positive influence in the future of this program."
 
 
Emily Slye – Defender/Midfielder – 5'6 – Kenosha, Wis. – Tremper – Rush WISE
 
Another Kenosha native joins the Rangers incoming women's soccer class. Slye will join the Rangers in the fall after playing for Rush WISE at the club level and Tremper high school. While at Tremper Slye has been pivotal for the Trojans, having been recognized as a first team All-Conference player, a first team All-County player, and helped the team to back to back conference championships in 2023 and 2024.
 
"Emily is a relentless competitor with incredible endurance. She's a great defender but also dangerous out wide so I'm looking forward to finding where she will be most effective for us but I know she'll be a great addition anywhere on the field."
 
 
Veronica Moran – Defender – 5'8 – Anoka, Minn. – Anoka High School – Boreal FC
 
Moran joins the Rangers in 2024, hailing from Anoka Minnesota. A defender, Moran played her club soccer with Boreal FC and high school soccer for the Tornados of Anoka High School. Moran was voted not just the Defensive MVP for the Tornados, but also Team MVP. She would captain the team in her final two seasons at Anoka.
 
"Veronica's command of the field as a defender is very impressive. She has the ability to win the ball and will then pick the right times to get forward and start the attack from deep."
 
 
Jordan Roscioli – Defender – 5'3" – Kenosha, Wis. – Westosha Central High School – Rush WISE
 
Another Kenosha native joins the Rangers ahead of the 2024 season. Jordan Roscioli is a defender who helped Westosha Central to a Regional Championship in the 2024 season. The second team all-conference member will add more defensive depth for the Rangers.
 
"Jordan is a tough, strong defender with a lot of personality on and off the field. She knows how to use her body really well and can serve great balls in the run of play and on set pieces. We look forward to sharing her contagious enthusiasm for the game and for Parkside."
 
 
Tabi Lemens – Goalkeeper – 5'4" – Luxemburg, Wis. – Luxemburg-Casco High School – Wisconsin United
 

Lemen's joins the Rangers goalkeeping room ahead of the 2024 season. Hailing from Luxemburg, Wis. Lemens is a former conference Defensive Player of the Year and racked up three first team all-conference honors while playing for the Spartans of Luxemburg-Casco.
 
"Tabi is a strong and explosive goalkeeper with great fundamentals. She has learned a lot in her training so anything she lacks in height she makes up for in IQ and execution.  We are excited for Tabi to join our great tradition of Ranger goalkeepers."
 
 
Nadiia Ivanchenko – Midfielder – 5'5" - Lvivska oblast, Ukraine - Volodymyr Volynsky Lyceum- Truett McConnell University
 
Ivanchenko joins the Parkside women's soccer program for her final year of eligibility. She brings loads of experience to the Rangers, formerly playing at the Division I level and for Ukraine at the international level.  Her attacking style of play has led to multiple awards in her club days including most goals scored.
 
"With a small rising senior class I was excited to bring in another player with experience and maturity. We will be able to lean into Nadiia's vast and diverse experience that includes playing D1, NAIA and for her country at the international level. Her technical skills are top class, and she is a fierce competitor who will help push us onward."
 
 
Chloe Jarosz – Defender – 5'2" – Omaha, Neb. - Papillion-La Vista South High School – Upper Iowa
 
Jarosz joins the Rangers for her senior season after previously playing at Upper Iowa. At UIU she logged a total of 3,513 minutes across her three seasons for the Peacocks. The defender from Nebraska's capital brings with her an attacking style of play out of the back as she has recorded a goal and two assists in her time as a Peacock.
 
"Chloe Jarosz joins us after three seasons at Upper Iowa. She's an athletic and aggressive defender with lots of experience and who likes to attack. She fits are style well and we are thrilled to bring her personality and leadership into the Parkside program."
 
 
Katrina Kazluski – Defender – 5'9" – Rockford, Ill. – Belvidere North High School – Upper Iowa
 
Kazluski joins the Rangers for her senior season after playing her first three years of college soccer at Upper Iowa. The Rockford native joins the Rangers after playing every game for the Peacocks during her time in Fayette. She has three career goals to her name so far in her career.
 
"It's not often you can add a player who has been a 3-year starter into your program, but we found that in Kat. She's a good 1v1 defender, extremely fit and strong in the air. We are very happy she has decided to come to Parkside to finish off her career."
 
 
Kayden Schmidt – Midfielder – 5'9" – Bayside, Wis. – Nicolet High School – Bavarian United
 
Schmidt comes to Parkside after playing her high school soccer at Nicolet and club soccer for Bavarian United. The bayside native has an extremely athletic background, earning nine varsity letters in her time at Nicolet. She aided to the soccer squad to a sectional appearance, earning team MVP and first team all-conference honors.
 
"Kayden is a terrific athlete who is quite versatile. She's been an influential player both in midfield and the backline for her high school and club teams. Her distribution of the ball is really accurate and smart and her drive to win will help push our team forward."
