Preview: Rangers to Face No. 4 Michigan Tech in GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinals

KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Parkside women's basketball team is set to travel up to the Upper Peninsula to take on No. 4 Michigan Tech. The Ranger enter the tournament as the No. 5 seed after going 10-7 in GLIAC play. The Huskies and Rangers are set to tip off at 6 p.m. EST. Scouting Michigan Tech
The Huskies and Rangers split the regular season match ups with each team picking up the win in their respective home games. The Rangers picked up the 80-41 victory in Kenosha back on January 18. Michigan Tech enters the GLIAC Tournament as the No. 5 seed after finishing the regular season with a 11-7 GLIAC record. The Huskies split their final two games of the regular season, picking up the 91-64 victory over Davenport, then dropping a 57-46 decision to Grand Valley State. GVSU enters the GLIAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed.

Tech is led by junior guard Isabella Lenz. Lenz leads the team in ppg with 12.7 and mpg with 34.5. She gets support from senior Katelyn Meister who averages 10.8 ppg. Meister is shooting an impressive 45% from the field this season. 

Series History
Michigan Tech enters the game with the 12-8 advantage over the Rangers. This will be the first time the two sides face off in the GLIAC Tournament.
