9/16/2026 12:43:00 PM

KENOSHA, Wis. – Parkside women's basketball and head coach Jen Conely are proud to announce that three additions to the roster for the 2026-27 school year. They are Izabel Durst, Maddie Becker, and Piri Lewis.

We are thrilled to welcome Izabel Durst, Maddie Becker, and Piri Lewis to our Parkside family," said Conely. "They are a fantastic fit for our program- skilled, athletic, high IQ, great teammates, and most importantly, phenomenal people. We have a great group returning and were really intentional on the group that we brought in. Izzy, Maddie, and Piri bring valuable experience and depth in positions that we need, and I know that they are excited to get this season started!"

Izabel Durst (Barneveld, Wis., Barneveld)
Durst joins Parkside following a decorated high school career that included three all-state selections, four first-team all-conference honors and two conference Player of the Year awards. A three-time team MVP, she helped her team finish as the state runner-up in 2025. Durst also earned High Honor Roll recognition every semester and was named Technology Education Student of the Year.

"Izzy is a skilled point guard that elevates the play of everyone around her. I love to see recruits play with their high school and AAU programs; she helped lead her team to back-to-back appearances at state. A lot of players today focus on their scoring ability, and while she can definitely light it up, Izzy is focused on making the right play. Basketball is fun and it is evident in how she plays and how much her teammates love playing with her." – Coach Conely.

Maddie Becker (South Milwaukee, Wis., South Milwaukee)
Becker brings leadership experience as a two-time team captain. She was named her team's MVP and earned first-team all-conference recognition twice during her high school career. An honors student, Becker is the daughter of Rebecca and Thomas Becker and has one sibling, Lilly.

"Maddie is a versatile forward that can score inside and outside. She first came to our elite camp a few summers ago and would continue to get better every time we saw her. I was so impressed with her continued growth and development; I know it takes a lot of intentional hard work and it is fun as a coach to see that hard work pay off." – Coach Conely

Piri Lewis (Hamilton, New Zealand, Nga Taiatea Wharekura)
Lewis comes to Parkside from Colby Community College, where she played 58 games over two seasons, averaging 25.5 minutes per game. She shot 44.8% from the floor during her time at Colby, and pulled down 175 rebounds and dished out 167 assists. During high school, she was a member of the 2022 "A" Girls National Championship team and earned all-tournament recognition that same year.

"Piri is a junior college transfer from Colby Community College. She's a playmaking guard that did a great job putting her teammates in a position to be successful. We were looking for a specific puzzle piece and got an e-mail from Piri expressing interest in our program. Watching her film, she's exactly what we were looking for- a seasoned vet that is skilled, physical, and able to make an impact on both ends." – Coach Conely
