BISMARK, ND --- The No. 3 ranked Parkside Rangers closed out the 2024 portion of their schedule on Friday night, taking on the No. 16 ranked University of Mary Marauders. Parkside fell behind 10-0 early but won the final eight bouts of the night to secure a 26-10 victory.

No. 2 ranked Reece Barnhardt made it 10-0 Mary with a 15-3 major decision over No. 7 ranked

Parkside got on the board in the third bout of the night when No. 3 ranked
Cayden Henschel edged out Sean Solis by a 5-4 decision. Henschel trailed 3-1 after the opening period. Solis scored the only point of the second period on an escape, but Henschel was able to rally, securing an escape and a takedown in the third period before riding out the clock to secure the victory.

Easton Worachek delivered a 16-1 tech fall victory in five minutes over Trae Thilmony. Worachek led 3-0 after the first period and was able to add on in the second with a reversal and four near fall points. Easton kept his foot on the gas, scoring two more takedowns in the third period along with the riding time bonus point to secure the tech fall win.

Ben Durocher built on the Parkside momentum, defeating Lane Ewing by a 5-1 decision. The bout was scoreless into the second period, where Durocher earned an escape point and got a takedown to take a 4-0 lead into the third period. He kept the lead throughout the third to secure the victory, giving Parkside their first team lead of the night at 11-10.

No. 15 ranked
Dajun Johnson continued the string of Parkside wins, defeating Leo Mushinsky by a 9-3 decision. Johnson started the bout strong, taking down Mushinsky and getting four near fall points to jump out to a 7-0 lead. Two escape points pulled the bout within 7-2, but Johnson was able to use a third period reversal to secure the 9-3 victory.

Crosby Schlosser won his bout over Joey Mushinsky by a 5-0 decision. Neither wrestler was able to score a point in the opening period. Schlosser broke the tie in the second with an escape point. He then took down Mushinsky to take a 4-0 lead. He was in control in the third period, securing a point for riding time.

No. 3 ranked
Reece Worachek continued the winning trend for the Rangers with an 8-4 win by decision over Dante Roggio. Roggio scored first on a takedown, but an escape and a takedown for Worachek were enough to take a 4-3 lead into the second period. Roggio tied the bout with the only point of the second period on an escape. Worachek owned the third period, taking the lead on an escape, then extending his lead with a takedown.

Chase Stegall secured an upset win, defeating No. 12 ranked Matt Kaylor by a 2-0 decision. After a scoreless first period, Kaylor chose bottom. Stegall was able to control the period, staying on top, securing 2:00 of riding time. Stegall escaped in the third to take the lead, then secured a point for riding time to secure the 2-0 victory.

In the final bout of the evening, No. 7 ranked
Lloyd Reynolds defeated No. 3 ranked Luke Tweeton by a 5-1 decision. Tweeton scored first with an escape in the second period, but two stall warnings allowed Reynolds to tie the bout going into the third. In the third, Reynolds was able to escape to take the lead for good, he earned additional points on stalling by Tweeton, which secured the 5-1 victory.
