WEST SALEM, Wis. --- The Parkside men's cross country team returned to action for their final regular season meet of the 2024 season on Saturday morning, competing at the Drews / Neubauer Invitational at the Maple Grove, LLC cross country course. Parkside had a limited roster compete this weekend, but the team was able to finish fourth overall out of a 20 team field.

"It was a fun race for the team today," said Director of Cross Country and Track and Field
Nick Maas. "We rested our top four runners for both teams to gear of conference while giving some opportunities for others to step up. All of them ran aggressive and brave with many coming away with great performances. It gives us a great tune up for GLIAC and shows we are ready to roll!! Championship season is my favorite season!"

Jose Monroy led the Rangers on Saturday, finishing 33
rd with a season best time of 26:13.8.
Cayton Cratch was the second Ranger to cross the line, finishing 42
nd in a time of 26:23.3. His run was a personal best by over a minute. Connor Sheahan finished 54
th, finishing in 26:39.6.

Doug Martin finished 67
th overall, finishing in a personal best time of 26:59.1.
Beckett Pawlak closed out the scoring for Parkside, finishing 83
rd in a personal best time of 27:23.0.
Jack Allen and
Isaac Fullmer were the sixth and seventh Rangers to cross the line, finishing in 27:55.9 and 28:35.0 respectively.

The Rangers will return to action a week from today, competing at the 2024 GLIAC Cross Country Championships in Big Rapids, Michigan. The women's race is set to start at 11:45am (ET) from Katke Golf Course. A link to live results can be found at ParksideRangers.com/coverage.
