KENOSHA, Wis. — The Parkside men's cross country team commenced their 2023 season on Friday afternoon, hosting the Vic Godfrey Open on the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course. The Rangers put together a strong performance in the 6k race, finishing second as a team behind Division I Xavier University.
Uriah Aili led the way for the Ranger men, finishing third overall with a time of 18:44.9, a ten-second improvement from the same race last year.
Grady Davis was close behind, finishing fifth with a personal best time of 19:04.9. Davis shattered his previous best in the 6k by nearly 25 seconds.
Johnathon Nowacki rounded out the top ten, running a personal best time of 19:18.3.
Ellery Pleier ran a personal best in the 6k, finishing 13th overall.

Conner Sheahan rounded out the top 20 finishers for Parkside.
