GLIAC – The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced the academic honors for the 2022 fall season. 61 student-athletes we recognized for their achievements in the classroom this past semester. 17 student-athletes received All-Academic honors, while 44 received Academic Excellence honors
Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, not a freshman or a first-year transfer student. GLIAC All-Academic teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. GLIAC Academic Excellence teams are comprised of student-athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. Grades are based on marks from the fall semester of 2021.
Women's soccer led the way with 19 student-athletes earning Academic Excellence, and three earning All-Academic. 12 student-athletes from fall sports finished with a 4.00 gpa.
