KENOSHA, Wis. - The Parkside cross country team competed at the 2022 GLIAC Championships in Detroit, Mich. on Friday. The Rangers battled hard and saw four runners earn All-GLIAC Honors.

Katja Baeuerle,
Walker Miller, and
Ramon Romero all earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors for their performances in today's race.
TEAM RESULTS
On the men's side, Parkside placed fifth with a score of 105, coming just shy of Wayne State (103 points) for fourth place. Grand Valley State won the conference title with a score of 28. Saginaw Valley placed second with a score of 61, and Michigan Tech finished third with 75 points.
The women took ninth in their race, scoring 208 points. Grand Valley State won the meet with a perfect score of 15, with all five of their scoring runners finishing in the top five individually. Rounding out the top five in the team standings were Wayne State (66), Saginaw Valley State (91), Michigan Tech (138), and Ferris State (153).
WHO LED THE WAY
Katja Baeuerle placed 14
th with a time of 22:04.02.
Audrey Amaya finished in 47
th place.
Emma Meyer placed 59
th with
Katherine Sim finishing just after her in 61
st.
Ella Rondeau rounded out the top five for the Rangers in 68
th place.
On the men's side,
Uriah Aili led the Rangers with a 12
th place finish and a time of 24:59.64.
Walker Miller placed 21
st, with
Ramon Romero in 23
rd and
Grady Davis in 27
th finishing within 14 seconds of each other.
Johnathon Nowacki finished the scoring for the Rangers in 39
th.
