AUGUSTA, Mich. – The Parkside Men's Golf team improved 10 strokes from their first round to finish in eighth place in the 2022 GLIAC Championship. A team score of 302 in round two will be the final round for the Rangers in the 2021-22 season.

Junior Steven Sanicki led the way on Saturday morning with a one-over 72. Sophomore Garrett Olson followed his impressive first round with a 74 in round two. Junior Danny Sanicki came in with a 77 followed by senior Chase Fisk with a 79. Freshman TJ Floberg finishes his first year with the Rangers with an 81.

A 302 team score helped the Rangers move up two spots from their disappointing first round to finish in eighth place with a final score of 614. Davenport leads the field following the stroke play format of the tournament with a 562 while Bradley Mogire of the Panthers wins the individual portion of the Championship with a two-day score of 138.

This tournament concludes the 2021-22 season for the Rangers Golf team. They will look forward to the 2022-23 season where they will return all players from this season and welcome in three freshmen.
