Eves, Pigeon Lead Rangers at GLIAC Outdoor Championships

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Friday was the last day of the season for many on the Parkside Track & Field team, as the Rangers were competing at the final day of the GLIAC Outdoor Championships at Davenport.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
  • Redshirt-senior Brock Eves won Second Team All-GLIAC honors in the men's 1500-meter run with a time of 3:50.14.
  • Senior Jacob Pigeon won Second Team All-GLIAC honors in the men's 400-meter dash with a time of 48.06.
  • Pigeon, senior Justin Steward, sophomore Uriah Aili, and sophomore Nic Davy got Third Team All-GLIAC honors in the 1600-meter relay when they ran a 3:18.25.
  • Redshirt-senior Amanda Johnson finished fourth in the women's 5000-meter run with a time of 17:47.63, junior Emma Meyer finished seventh with a 18:18.61.
  • Pigeon finished fifth in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 21.79, Steward finished eighth with a 22.11.
  • Freshman Riley Williams finished sixth in the men's triple jump with a mark of 12.64m.
  • Steward finished seventh in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 10.95.
  • Aili finished seventh in the men's 800-meter run with a time of 1:53.67.
  • Sophomore Taylor Hallam finished ninth in the women's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:10.44.
  • Eves finished ninth in the men's 5000-meter run with a time of 14:53.06.
