PUEBLO, Colo. – The Rangers continued at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships on Friday evening.
Doug Martin took to the track, running in the 800m prelims.
"A pretty gutsy race from Doug," said the Director of XC/Track and Field
Nick Maas. "He put himself in a position right away and gave himself a chance. Just getting the opportunity to be a part of a national championship as a freshmen is special. You will definitely see much more of him on the national stage in the years to come."
Martin continued to build upon the Rangers success, running in the intense Colorado heat. The freshman entered the prelims with the 22
nd best time in Division II. After posting a time of 1:1:50.34, Martin finished 15
th fastest in Division II.
The Rangers will wrap up competition in the men's high jump.
Simon Dominic and
EJ Johnson will look to end the 2025 Outdoor Championships on a high note.
