KENOSHA, Wis. — May 14, 2025 — The University of Wisconsin-Parkside track and field program is proud to announce that five of its student-athletes have earned All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field season.
The USTFCCCA revealed its All-Region selections on Wednesday following the conclusion of the regular season. All-Region honors are awarded to the top five individuals in each event per region, as well as all members of top-three ranked relay teams.
Freshman Kyril Griffin earned All-Region honors in the men's triple jump with a personal-best mark of 14.61 meters. His performance ranks as the second-best in program history.
Junior Michael Hendrix claimed his All-Region honor in the men's 400-meter hurdles after posting a time of 51.88 seconds. That time stands as the second-fastest in school history.
Freshman Doug Martin earned recognition in the men's 800 meters. Martin not only broke the school record with a time of 1:49.36 but also qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships.
On the women's side, freshman Johanna Ebert was named All-Region in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Ebert broke the school record with a time of 10:35.45 and qualified for the NCAA Championships.
Freshman Essence Burrows earned her All-Region accolade in the women's triple jump with a school-record leap of 11.85 meters. Her performance set a new program record.
