HILLSDALE, Mich. -- The Parkside men's and women's track and field team were in action this weekend for their second outdoor season meet at the Hillsdale Invitational in Hillsdale, Mich.

Alaura Busch broke the heptathlon school record for the third time this season, going for 4,225 points as she won the 800-meter run to add to a great day for the freshman.Â

- Freshman Thomas Diamond took fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.52
- Senior Justin Steward took fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.87
- Freshman Grady Davis took fourth in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:10.18
- Sophomore Jared Furman took fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.07

- Freshman Alaura Busch took second in the high jump heptathlon with a measure of 1.58 meters
- Busch took third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.40
- She took first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:25.13
- Busch placed third in the heptathlon.
- Redshirt-senior Amanda Johnson placed second in the 5000-meter run with a time of 17:54.28
- Freshman Katja Bauerle took fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:23.80
