KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside men's golf team rounded out the 2021 Fall schedule on Sunday morning, where the team finished in seventh place at the Davenport Invitational held at Stoatin Brae Golf Club, where the 2022 GLIAC Men's Golf Championship will be held.

"We've played seven weeks in a row of tournament golf this fall and I'm pleased with what I'm seeing," second year head coach
Tyler Wollberg said. "We didn't end on a high note with our performance this weekend but we know what we need to accomplish this winter in order to be more competitive in the Spring."

Matt Unger and junior
Danny Sanicki tied for a team best 75 on Sunday after Unger led the way on Saturday. Unger had a two-day total of 149 to finish in a tie for 11
th place individually. Junior
Steven Sanicki shot a 78 and finished in a tie for 24
th place with
Danny Sanicki while sophomore
Garrett Olson shot an 82 and freshman
TJ Floberg shot an 83.
As a team, Parkside shot a 310 on day two after shooting a 305 on Saturday. Parkside's 615 was good for seventh place while Ohio Dominican shot a 580 to win the Invitational. Mack Cushman won the individual medal with a 65-74-139.
The Rangers will pick up the 2022 Spring schedule in late February where the team will head to Mississippi for The Tunica Cup.
