th place at the 41
st Annual Midwest Classic as five Rangers competed on Sunday in Indianapolis.

Airk Furseth had a nice weekend for the Rangers, as the redshirt-senior took second place at 133-pounds. Furseth won an 8-3 decision over Eric Bartos of Mercyhurst but was pinned in the championship match by Jonathan Andreatta of Adams State, who stayed undefeated this year.

Pernevlon Sheppard battled all the way back to finish in third place at 141 pounds. Sheppard went 4-0 on Sunday, earning a 15-11 decision in round four of the consolation bracket, a 12-1 major decision in round five and a medical forfeit in the consolation semifinal. In the third-place match, Sheppard won by fall (4:58) over No. 5 ranked Jon Miller of UNC-Pembroke.
Junior Joe Arroyo went 1-2 on Sunday and took eight place at 125 pounds while redshirt-junior
Nathan Hensley and junior
Rodsean Graham each lost their only matches on Sunday.
No. 2 ranked McKendree won the Midwest Classic with a score of 131.5, followed by No. 16 Central Oklahoma (113) and No. 19 Tiffin (104).
Parkside will hit the road for three straight duals this week, beginning with Minnesota State on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m.
