Brittney Fair scored 15 points and sophomore
Kauri Jensen had 10 points and nine rebounds as the Wisconsin-Parkside women's basketball team fell to Milwaukee 85-63 in an exhibition game on Monday in the Klotsche Center.
Wisconsin-Parkside, which opens its season on Saturday (Nov. 12) at Saginaw Valley State, also received eight points each from
Lauren Boerger and
Olivia Montague.
Taylor Stephen added six points and five assists for the Rangers.
Milwaukee was led by Steph Kostowicz who had 25 points, while Sierra Ford-Washington had 15 points and Jenny Linder added 10 points.
The Rangers shot 40.4 percent from the floor for the contest, which included shooting 50.0 percent in the first quarter and 58.3 percent in the fourth quarter.
Fair, Boerger and Montague each made two three-point baskets, while Carolina Rakhonen was 1-of-2 from beyond the arc and the Rangers shot a combined 7-of-20 from the three-point line.
All 15 Rangers on the roster saw action in the contest.
Wisconsin-Parkside opens its season at Saginaw Valley State on Nov. 12 as part of the GLVC/GLIAC Challenge. The Rangers will meet Northwood on Sunday as part of the challenge.
