High School: A multi-sport athlete,the 5-7 guard was a Second Team All-Metro and Second Team All-Mississippi Valley Conference selection for the Lions in 2014-2015, averaging 9.1 points per game with 3.1 rebounds per game and 1.5 steals per game. Montague helped Linn-Mar finish the season ranked eighth in the state at the 5A level with a 16-8 record, advancing to the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Class 5A Regional Finals. An honor roll student in the classroom, the guard was an Honorable Mention All-Metro and All-MVC honoree during her junior campaign in 2013-2014.
