KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Feb. 5, 2015)-- The 14th-ranked University of Wisconsin-Parkside men's basketball squad tallied its second blowout victory in as many games on Thursday night, steamrolling Rockhurst University 74-44 in a Great Lakes Valley Conference matchup inside Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Rangers (19-2, 11-1 GLVC) scored the opening six points, including the first four from Zygimantas Riauka and never looked back, leading wire-to-wire in the interdivisional showdown.

The Hawks (6-14, 2-10 GLVC) closed within a point with the next five points but UW-Parkside added the next five with a Jordan Mach three and a Jimmy Gavin layup. Rockhurst continued to hang around in the opening half with the Rangers owning a 28-22 lead after 20 minutes of play.

Parkside roared out of the gates in the second half, scoring the first 10 points, including back-to-back threes from Mach to push the Ranger buffer to 16 points. The visitors maintained at least a 16-point cushion the rest of the night en route to the 30-point blowout.

Four Rangers finished in double figures, headlined by Mach who hit four three-pointers and finished with 14 points. Riauka poured on 12 points with seven rebounds and six assists while Mohamed Mohamed and Jimmy Gavin added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Liam Duffy was Rockhurst's top scorer with nine points.

UW-Parkside committed just seven turnovers and owned a 19-2 edge in points off turnovers while dominating the paint with a 40-22 scoring advantage.

The Rangers close out their Missouri trip on Saturday with a 2 p.m. game against William Jewell College.
