2014-2015: First Team All-GLVC, Second Team Daktronics All-Midwest Region, and Second Team NABC All-Midwest District selection. Started all 30 games for the Rangers, leading the team in scoring and assists, averaging 17.4 points per game and 3.0 assists per game. The Arlington Heights, Illinois, native finished in double figures 28 times during the 2014-2015 campaign, including a career-high 40-point outburst on Feb. 21 in an overtime victory over host University of Illinois Springfield.

2013-2014: Second Team All GLVC selection. Started in 4 of the 30 games he played for the Rangers and averaged 16 ppg on the season. Gavin had the team best 3-point percentage of .405 and 31 steals. Scored a season-high 28 points vs. Missouri S&T.

2012-2013: Played for Division I Bradley University where he was a walk-on. Appeared in 10 games in 2012-2013 as the Braves advanced to the third round of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.
