Noblesville Ind. (Apr. 15, 2013)-- Nick Corban finished eighth overall to lead the University of Wisconsin-Parkside as the Rangers wrapped up the regular season on Monday at the Midwest Region Invitational #4 at the Purgatory Golf Course.
Corban finished at par over the course the two day event, shooting a 72 on Sunday and a 72 on Monday for the two-day tally of 144.
Jake Wisniewski placed 27th, carding a 148. The junior shot a 79 on day one before rebounding with a three under round of 69 on Monday.
Keith Buntrock tallied a 154 (77-77) to place 87th while
Brian Krupo was 107th with a score of 157 (80-77).
The Rangers placed 14th overall at the 31-team invitational, collecting a team score of 601 (306-295). Great Lakes Valley Conference rival University of Missouri-Saint Louis captured the team title with a score of 579 (290-289) with Maryville University finishing runner-up with a tally of 585 (291-294). Lewis University's Harrison Carmichael secured top individual honors, winning on a playoff after shooting a 142 (68-74).
UW-Parkside begins the postseason on Sunday, heading to Columbus, Ind. for the GLVC Championships at Otter Creek.
