KENOSHA, Wis. (Sept. 18, 2012)-- Hosting its first event of the season, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside men's golf squad tallied a third place finish at the two-day UW-Parkside Fall Invitational on Tuesday at The Club at Strawberry Creek.
The Rangers finished third, carding a 622 at the nine-team event. Lewis University took top billing, tallying a two-day score of 611 while Bellarmine University was one stroke back in second with a 612. Maryville University was fourth with a cumulative score of 631.
Brian Krupo led the Ranger contingent, tying for sixth with a 152, shooting a 74 in day one before carding a 78.
Keith Buntrock (77-78) and
Kyle Kolberg (75-80) tied for 10th, both finishing with a two-round score of 155 while
Nick Corban (84-80) and
Jake Wisniewski (80-84) tied for 36th both shooting a 164.
Competing as individuals,
Zach Haman finished ninth shooting a 154 (77-77) while
Stephen Lange was 15th (157).
The Rangers return to action on Sunday, Sept. 30 for the Regional Invitational #1 at the Brighton Dale Golf Course in Kenosha.
