Rockhurst visited the DeSimone Gymnasium Friday night and took a 25-21, 25-18, 25-21 win over the Ranger volleyball team. The Hawks hit for a .278 percentage in the match, compared to .163 for UW-Parkside.
The win by the Hawks improves their record to 20-12 overall and 9-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. UW-Parkside is 21-11 overall and 5-8 in the GLVC.
The Hawks scored 12 unanswered points in the second set.
Parkside's top hitter was Tami Gleason, who had 12 kills in the match and a .360 hitting percentage.
The Rangers will host their final match of the season Saturday, Nov. 7. Drury will be the visitor for a 3 p.m. match. Fans are encouraged to wear black as UWP stages a "black out!"
