Bridget Nickel secured her third postseason accolade on Nov. 27, landing a spot on the Daktronics All-Midwest Region Team.

The junior outside hitter was one of 14 players in the region to be honored, earning a position on the seven-player Second Team. Eight of the 14 players honored hailed from the Great Lakes Valley Conference, including six of the seven Second Team selections.

This is the third honor Nickel has won this postseason, also earning First Team All-GLVC honors and American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Midwest Region accolades.

Nickel led the Rangers in kills with 369, averaging 3.88 kills a set. The junior tallied a team-high 25 service aces while recording 62 blocks (nine solo, 53 assisted) and 242 digs. The outside hitter collected 25 kills in a five set victory defeat to McKendree on the road on Oct. 26 while repeating the feat against Kentucky Wesleyan on Nov. 9, a four-set victory that secured UW-Parkside a spot in the GLVC Championship Tournament for the second consecutive season.
