Biography
2014-2015: Redshirted
High School: Tyler Jandron, a two-sport star, joins the Rangers from Negaunee High School in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The 6 foot, 2 inch guard was a First Team AP All-State selection in both 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, guiding the Miners to back-to-back MHSAA Class C State Semifinal appearances. A two-time Upper Peninsula Player of the Year, Jandron averaged 17.8 points per game as a senior while also averaging 4.4 assists, 3.7 steals and 3.7 rebounds.
Jandron, who received a scholarship to play for the baseball team, finished as Negaunee's all-time leading scorer with over 1,400 points while also setting school records in both steals and assists. A nine-time letterwinner, Jandron helped the Miners post a 77-10 record in his four seasons with the team.
