KENOSHA, Wis. – Parkside softball senior third baseman Mia Johnson added another historic honor to her decorated career, earning unanimous First Team All-America honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and the D2CCA.

Johnson, who was named a Third Team All-American by the NFCA last season, becomes a two-time All-American while remaining the ninth player in Parkside softball history to earn All-America recognition. She is also one of just two players in the GLIAC selected as an All-American this season, joining Saginaw Valley State's Aalana Kimble.

The honor caps off the most complete season of Johnson's career. The senior started all 52 games for the Rangers and slashed .456/.605/.966, finishing with 67 hits, 57 runs, 20 doubles, 2 triples, 17 home runs, 43 RBI, 142 total bases, 56 walks and 7 stolen bases. Johnson was also elite defensively at third base, making just three errors all season while posting a .981 fielding percentage with 69 putouts and 90 assists.

Johnson dominated the GLIAC and ranked among the top players in NCAA Division II in nearly every major offensive category. She led the conference in batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, doubles, doubles per game, home runs, home runs per game, runs, runs per game, total bases and walks per game.

Nationally, Johnson ranked third in Division II in slugging percentage, fifth in on-base percentage, eighth in total bases, 10th in home runs, 13th in doubles, 14th in home runs per game, 17th in runs, 19th in batting average, 23rd in doubles per game, 32nd in runs per game and second in walks per game.

Johnson was also named First Team All-GLIAC for the fourth time in her career after putting together another dominant season in conference play. Against GLIAC opponents, she hit .372 with a .533 on-base percentage and a .692 slugging percentage. She started all 28 conference games, totaling 29 hits, 25 runs, 8 doubles, 1 triple, 5 home runs, 16 RBI, 54 total bases, 27 walks and 5 stolen bases. She also recorded 57 assists at third base during conference action.

The honor adds to one of the most decorated careers in Parkside softball history. Johnson was named the GLIAC Player of the Year in both 2024 and 2025, becoming one of the league's premier offensive players while helping lead the Rangers throughout her career.

Johnson also added another program milestone on the final day of the regular season, breaking Parkside's career doubles record. Her 58th career double moved her past Jackie Aiken, breaking a record that had stood for nearly three decades.

Johnson closes her senior season as one of the most accomplished players in program history, finishing her final campaign as a First Team All-American, four-time First Team All-GLIAC selection, two-time GLIAC Player of the Year and Parkside's all-time career doubles leader.
