NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2025 NCAA Division II All-Academic Teams and All-Academic Athletes on Monday, and Parkside Track & Field was once again recognized for its outstanding performance in the classroom and in competition.

Both the Parkside men's and women's track & field teams were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams, an honor awarded to programs that finish the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The GPA includes all student-athletes listed on the NCAA Squad List for the indoor and/or outdoor track and field seasons and must be verified by the institution's registrar.

In addition to the team accolades, eight Parkside student-athletes earned the distinguished title of USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete for the 2024-25 season. Honorees include Abbi Steiner, Grace Mildice, Johanna Ebert, Rachel Blaskowski, Sean Waldvogel, Mate Pesti, Doug Martin, and Austin Depuydt.

To be named an All-Academic Athlete, individuals must have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale through the end of the semester of competition, with GPA data certifiable by the institution's registrar. Athletes must also have been academically eligible at the NCAA National Championships in the season in which their athletic mark was achieved. Additionally, they must have finished the season ranked among the top 50 individuals on the official TFRRS descending order list or have participated at either the Indoor or Outdoor NCAA Championships.

This recognition reflects Parkside Track & Field's commitment to developing high-achieving student-athletes who excel both on the track and in the classroom.
