Parkside Men's Team Makes History at GLIAC Outdoor Championships

ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Parkside men's track and field team competed in the final day of the GLIAC Outdoor Championships on Friday. The Rangers had a historic day, finishing third in the conference point total, their highest placement in school history.
 
The Rangers totaled 112 points, breaking the school record for points in the Outdoor Conference Championship. Michael Hendrix also made school history, becoming the first student athlete to win an event at the GLIAC Outdoor Championships. Hendrix won the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.88, a new personal best for the junior.
