KENOSHA, WI - Parkside Athletics has officially launched the Parkside Basketball Excellence Initiative, a targeted fundraising campaign designed to accelerate the trajectory of its men's and women's basketball programs and establish a championship standard moving forward.

As an extension of the anonymous gift made to women's basketball and the philanthropy of supporter Omair Ahmed this past fall, this initiative focuses on three critical areas of support: optimized travel experiences, enriched gear packages, and enhanced nutrition and wellness opportunities for student-athletes.

"Philanthropic support is needed to help support and be the catalyst to drive Parkside Basketball to new heights of success and set our championship standard," said Parkside Director of Athletics, Adam Schemm.

The Basketball Excellence Initiative comes at a crucial time for the Rangers basketball programs as they seek to remain competitive in recruiting, enhance the student-athlete experience, and build on their success both on and off the court.

Donors to the initiative will make a direct impact on the program's resources, enabling Parkside basketball student-athletes to excel as champions on the court, in the classroom, and throughout the community.

"The time is now to elevate excellence in Parkside Basketball," added Schemm. "With the support of our alumni, fans, and community partners, we can provide our student-athletes with the tools they need to compete at the highest level."
