Kenosha, Wis. – The GLIAC released its postseason awards on Friday, with three Parkside standouts earning recognition. Cassidy Arni led the way, securing her first First Team All-GLIAC selection. Additionally, Sheridan Flauger and Chloe Van Zeeland were named to the Second Team All-GLIAC.

"Congrats to Cassidy, Sheridan, and Chloe for being named All-GLIAC! I love to see hard work pay off, and these three have been fantastic representatives of our program on and off the court—a true joy to coach!" – Head Coach Jen Conely.

After a freshman season that included GLIAC Freshman of the Year honors, Arni took another major step forward, earning First Team All-GLIAC this season. She elevated her game, scoring 14 points per game—ranking fourth in the conference and six points higher than her previous season. Arni doubled her shot total while maintaining efficiency, shooting 48% from the field and 30% from deep. Her field goal percentage ranked fifth-best in the GLIAC.

Cassidy Arni opened her sophomore campaign with a bang, dropping 36 points on the road against Minnesota Duluth—one of five games this season where she scored at least 20 points. Most notably, she led Parkside to a victory over No. 1 Grand Valley State, scoring 26 points on 11-15 shooting, including a game-sealing block that sent De Simone Arena into a frenzy.

"After last year's Freshman of the Year campaign, some players would be satisfied—but not Cass," said Coach Conely. "She continues to step up and elevate her game on both ends of the court. It's been fun to see her process in getting better and how hard she attacks things. She is a tough matchup for other teams and, what's even scarier, continues to improve."

For the second consecutive season, Sheridan Flauger earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors. A leader on and off the floor, she played more minutes than ever before, averaging 32.7 per game—third most in the conference. Flauger made an impact in both scoring and playmaking, averaging 10.7 points and 3.8 assists per game, ranking fifth in the GLIAC in assists.

Flauger delivered multiple standout performances, but no moment was bigger than her game-winning shot to lift Parkside over No. 1 Grand Valley State on February 15th. She was the X-factor in the contest, finishing with 18 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Flauger wrapped up a tremendous four-year career with Parkside, earning yet another postseason accolade.

"Sheridan has been a four-year starter for us and impacts the game in so many ways," remarked Coach Conely. "I know a lot of people focus on scoring, which she is more than capable of, but it's the way she runs our offense and her ability to score and create for others that is special. She is also a fantastic defender—one of the best on-ball defenders I've coached."

In her final collegiate season, Chloe Van Zeeland earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors after being a dominant force for Parkside. She thrived at De Simone Arena, averaging over 20 points per game at home and earning the nickname "Ms. De Simone Arena." She recorded four 20+ point performances, all in front of the home crowd, and notched three double-doubles on the season.

Van Zeeland finished the year averaging 12.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while leading the GLIAC in field goal percentage at an impressive 55%. Defensively, she was just as dominant, averaging one block per game—tied for fourth-best in the conference.

"As a transfer, Chloe's path has been different but so impactful. It's been so much fun watching her step outside her comfort zone and flourish into the player she is," said Coach Conely. "She has embraced shooting 3s and attacking off the dribble—she's so versatile and can affect the game in so many ways. She's an absolute beast on both ends of the floor."
