Greenwood, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2024-25 Women's Basketball Academic All-District teams on Wednesday afternoon, with two Parkside players earning recognition. Among them, Cassidy Arni and Peighton Nelson were honored for their achievements on and off the court.

"Congrats to Cass and Peighton on being named Academic All-District! Obviously, they have been very impactful for our program on the court so it's great to see their commitment to excellence in the classroom recognized too!" - Head Coach Jen Conely. 

To be nominated, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. Additionally, they must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and be a key contributor to their team this season.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially funded by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with award fulfillment for the 2024-25 Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program receives partial financial support through the NAIA governance structure.
